The sun sets on the BBQ wha-part story. I’ve had such fun collating these images and small tales. Many thanks to the people out and about in nature and cooking up a storm.
Without further ado, the grande finale – is West best?
You may like to check out the tides and sunset estimates, as the shapes and scents of this peninsula ebb and flow with the waters. I also recommend a stroll before or after your BBQ/picnic along the Otumoetai Foreshore.

Kia ora, for joining wild & grace on our gastronomic fire & nature journey. There’s been a bit of an ice-cream theme going on throughout… so then, what’s your favourite ice-cream flavour? Mine’s liquorice, especially from Bethlehem’s Sommerset Cottage (which you can buy in the tub direct – stop it!). I did enjoy lavendar too whilst travelling to Collioure in the South-East of France. But enough about me, what’s your flavourite?
Hope you can join us on our next adventure. Until then, go well.
thank you so much for taking the time to document these. I knew we had some parks with free bqqs BUT i didnt know there were so many. I will be making the most of these this summer. I will definitely be using these pages for future reference and sharing on my facebook page. 🙂
Hi Zita
Awesome, and lovely to hear from you. I hope to do a spread on playgrounds and buggy friendly walks too.
Enjoy
