Welcome to wild & grace’s first ever Crochet Crew to usher in Spring.
Why? Come to the Mowbray-Marks’ place in Matua to eat cake, drink black and herbal teas, learn to crochet a simple square or show your crochet nifty-ness off to the rest of us beginners.
When? Crochet Crew will take place on Sunday 26 August 2012 from 2.30-4.30pm in Matua,Tauranga, New Zealand. E-mail: wildandgrace@gmail.com for further directions.
What to bring? Just yourself – crochet hooks and wool will be here for you to experiment with. Isla King and co will be our visiting ‘experts’ to show us how it’s done.
Inspiration? I’m a huge fan of the website Purlbee, where the babette blanket comes from above. They have a heap of wonderful handcraft images and ideas which include free patterns. Also ravelry has been a recent source of woven beauty, see below.
What cake, slice or biscuit shall I make us?
