NEWSFLASH: We will still congregate at the Mowbray-Marks’ place today and ‘weave’ in our lounge rather than beneath the cherry tree. A plus tard.
On (St Patrick’s Day) Sunday the 17th of March 2013 from 2.30-5pm we are going to host another crochet afternoon on Levers Road, Matua, Tauranga, New Zealand.
All are welcome to this FREE EVENT. Come yarn bomb or learn to crochet or just crochet (and we’ll forgive you if you wanna come knit) in our Matua garden, Katherine Mansfield styles.
Please bring a crochet hook (often op shops sell them for under $1) otherwise see my blog post for other stockists in Tauranga. Come armed with your sunhat and sunscreen and feel free to bring something fabulous of any kind (yourself, a poem, some advice, an exquisite friend, your pet sparrow…)
I will provide a mish-mash of yarn for those who don’t have any, cake and coffee. Everyone will either provide chit chat or listening and most probably laughter.
The secret location will also be less secret soon and not such a picket fence:
This is our inspiration for our gifted woven treat:

I adore this post. I’m just starting to yarn bomb and hope to eventually do lovely things like this! 🙂 Thank you for the link to the crochet flowers, as well!
Hi there, I’m about to write a simple post about some beautiful blogs about the handmade, natural and artistic. I’m looking forward to our yarn bomb too. Smiles, Emily
