Autumn has arrived with her still sun soaked days with cooler nights. And to celebrate Emily Mowbray-Marks is ‘throwing a festival’ in Tauranga’s Rose Gardens over Anzac Weekend.

Design your own weekend of rejuvenation and soul with The Delightful Festival of Body & Sound and prepare to ‘shift’ as autumn eeks into winter.DFBS Autumn Yoga Collage

Gorgeous teachers, some local and a hand-picked number of ‘imports’, are gracing the Bay offering workshops in Mindfulness, Restorative Yoga, Kirtan (singing the heart open), Tai Chi and Meditation and Soundbath (among other delights). You may also enjoy their $10 Talk ‘n’ Tea series featuring Debbie Karl (local Acupuncturist). Ms Karl with give a unique presentation of the Season of Autumn, whilst you sup your Puku or Passion Herbal Potential tea. Whilst Erin will give a presentation of the Art of Geomancy (Hawaii’s version of Feng Shui).

It’s a timely opportunity to press the pause button, slow down, and take some time for YOU.

The Rose Gardens are still in bloom, and the tropical garden awash with colour as the fushia and slipper orchids bend to kiss each other. The Ivy Collinade overlooking our Harbour is drooping slightly, but Ceres still replenishes the gentle fountained pond. This and the Vintage Carclub, Tipi and Moroccan Tent will set the scene for our 3 day long weekend.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.bodyandsoundfestival.co.nz.

Your weekend of retreat, renewal and delight awaits.
