Thursday 1 December 6pm – PROTEST – Aotearoa with Standing Rock. On the 1st December 2016 at 6pm Aotearoa is standing with Standing Rock. People of all colours and creeds coming together to stand in solidarity with the Water Protectors at Standing Rock.
We will be holding a unity prayer which is open for all to join regardless of religious or non-religious affiliations. We would love as many nationalities as possible to be represented! Event will go ahead regardless of weather. Bring umbrellas in case of rain.

Thursday 1 December 5.30pm until 9pm (every Thursday) – FOOD & MUSIC – Dinner in the Domain is a weekly artisan food market held in the idyllic Papamoa Domain. Operating every Thursday evening from the 6th of November through to the 26th of March, this event promises to offer the best street food the Bay has to offer. Saturday 3 December 1pm-2.30pm – MUSIC – Kid friendly Kirtan in a Matua garden. Come sing Kirtan (the art of chanting your heart open) with Premratna (from Auckland) with her harmonium, guitar and Dhurva’s magical drum. This is a warm-hearted event for the whole family. Thursday 8 December (every Thursday) 6.30pm until 8.30pm – SINGING – Mauao Contemporary Choir. They call themselves The Crazy Choir. Men and Women of mixed ages come together to sing, have a cuppa and a little too much chat occasionally. The ‘leader’ is warm, fun, an accomplished musician and composer and a delight to be in the company of. Give it a go. Six-year-old Susan Walker (Mara Wilson) is skeptical of the Christmas myth surrounding Santa Claus, a trait she perhaps learned from her mother, Dorey (Elizabeth Perkins). When tasked with hiring the Santa who will pose with kids at Macy’s, Dorey enlists a man with the curious name of Kris Kringle (Richard Attenborough) who claims to be Santa himself.
