Tuesday 3 January 10am until 9pm – MUSIC / FOOD / CRAFT BEER – Beast of a Feast. Cost: Unknown. Venue: Soper Reserve (next to Rising Tide), 95 Newton St, Mt Maungaui.


Wednesday 4 January 6am (every Wednesday) – SUNRISE YOGA – With The Yoga Collective Mt Maunganui. Cost: $10. Venue: Hart Street Platform, Marine Parade, Mt Maunganui (beachfront).

Wednesday 4 January 6pm until 10.30pm – FILM – Night Owl Cinema presents ‘The Lion King’. MOVIE STARTS AT DARK – approx 9pm. Food and live music from 6pm.

Lion cub and future king Simba searches for his identity. His eagerness to please others and penchant for testing his boundaries sometimes gets him into trouble. Movie length is 1 hour 29 mins.
The Street Food Union foodies feat. Lalele Organic, Southern Fries, Hair-raisingly good mobile coffee, Judge. Cost: Gold coin entry. Venue: Hopukiore / Mt Drury Mt Maunganui.

Operating every Thursday evening from the 6th of November through to the 26th of March, this event promises to offer the best street food the Bay has to offer. Venue: Papamoa Domain, 561 Papamoa Beach Road

Friday 6 January 3pm until 8pm – SPORT- Cricket: Black Caps versus Bangladesh. Venue: Bay Oval, Mt Maunganui.

Old and new vendors are lined up and ready, musicians are standing by and fine weather is ordered.
There is something for everyone: Burgers + Bangers, Pasta + Pizza, Ice cream + Brownies, fresh Juice + Coffee, Samosas, Empanadas, Nachos + Sushi, Fries + Dumplings, Vegan + Raw Food, Mussel Fritters + Crepes all fresh, all hand made and all oh so yummy.

Saturday 7 January 8pm until 11pm – MUSIC – My Baby. Cost: $15 + booking fee. Venue: Totara Street, Mt Maunganui.

Wednesday 11 January 7.30pm (every Wednesday) – MUSIC – A Taste of your Music (an open mic night with a twist) at The Matua: Singers bring chord sheets and sing and play with the band… Venue: The Matua, Tilby Drive, Matua, Tauranga.

 until 10pmDRUMS/FIRE – Full Moon Fire and Drums. Bring Drums, Fire toys and some koha for fuel. Feel free to come watch and listen. Venue: Mt Drury (Hopukiore) Mt Maunganui
