We’ve just written up a memory of the SOLD OUT Sacred Urge to Play workshop with Pennie Brownlee at Ohauiti Hall in Tauranga. Thank you Pennie for carting your bags and bags, of beauty, collected from nature, for us to PLAY and be CREATIVE with. The generosity and commitment you sustain for ‘learners’ and our tamariki is admirable.
Due to that workshop (for Teachers, Parents, Caregivers and all those who play & work alongside and care for children) selling out we programmed this repeat day at Fergusson Park, overlooking the fields, harbour of Matua, Tauranga Moana with Mauao in the distance.
Here is a visual story of our day together.
For those who attended our vegetarian and mostly plant-powered menu flowed like this:
* Roasted Broccoli
* Mount Sourdough Company bread
* Lewis Road Creamery butter
* Ripe’s Carrot, Beetroot Salad with Pomegranate Molasses
* Alison Holst’s Rice Salad
The remaining recipes will be up before Christmas, for you to wow your whanau with during that ‘quality time season’.
It bears repeating that the takeaway a-ha moment for us was:
āFull attention builds relationshipsā
and
āSeeing someone, hearing someone, is perhaps the greatest, kindest gift (of love) we can ever giveā.
wild & grace feel filled up by bringing remarkable people to share about how to be ābetterā or ādifferentā for our kids and people.
Do you have someoneĀ (a Teacher of Teachers & Parents) youād like us to bringĀ to the Bay of Plenty?
Feel free to connect with us via email:Ā emily@wildandgrace.co.nz
PS we love a reminder email as we are a teeny weeny resourced organisation with a big heart, and answering all the communication we receive in a timely manner is challenging. Thanks for your patience and perseverance.
Namaste, Kia ora, Go well.
